Wayne Community College had its biggest team ever for a
LitterSweep when 21 people from all areas of the college braved a
heavy mist on Saturday, 18
th September.
For the first
time the WCC team finished the assigned road, Royall Avenue.
The team was joined by the Keep Wayne County Beautiful director
and a reporter from the News-Argus. The WC team garnered a
color photo in Sunday’s paper.
Making up the WCC LitterSweep team were Curriculum and
Continuing Education students and family members: Patricia
Atkinson, Jacob Derrig, Angela Beasly, Michael Kwon (International
Club president), Jason Seeley and Julie (Phi Theta Kappa
president), Mandi and Autumn Hollowell.
Faculty, staff, administrators from Continuing Education, Basic
Skills and Curriculum: Wayne Madry, Maria Rigdon, Donna Moore,
Carolyn Hill, Richard Harris, Jack Kannan, Matt Shaw, Chasity
Neumann, Dori and Terry Fraser, Phyllis and Gary Patterson, and
Tara Humphries.
